About the Event

Who should attend?  

Do you aspire to join a college team? Serious athletes and their families ages 8th- 11 grade who aspire to be compete in college should join us. For many athletes recruiting starts as soon as June after 10th grade.  Early and focused preparation is more likely to lead to success.  

What will we learn? 

 In this one hour presentation Diana will share a plan that serious athletes and their families should follow with the goal of finding the best college where the student athlete will thrive personally, academically and athletically.  The heart of the discussion will be how to begin and follow through on the first step of college recruiting: crafting a college list. You will depart with an understanding of steps to take, handouts, a calendar and resources to support your efforts. 

Who is leading this workshop?  Diana Daymond is a Professional College Counselor specializing in guiding athletes through college recruiting and the application process. For many years Diana has advised dozens of Terrapin swimmers and  athletes in many sports to prepare for and successfully navigate the very challenging and quickly changing college recruting and admission  process.   In addition to recruiting  Diana specializes in guiding students through college essay  writing.
